Using -S Option

Using -S Option

When you use the -S option with the nbtstat command, it shows NetBIOS session table. This command shows both workstation and server session and also lists IP address in place of remote address. The syntax of the command is:

nbtstat -s

The output contain NetBIOS name with its hexadecimal ID and stat of every session. The in/out column identifies whether the connection is established on the same computer on which nbstat is running or if any other computer has established connection with the computer. The input and output columns show the amount of data that you have transferred between the stations.
