Understanding the Basics of Wireless Networking

Wireless networking allows you to connect different computers or devices in a wireless network by using wireless network protocols. A wireless network uses radio waves to provide network connectivity to devices by a transmitter/receiver unit known as Access Point (AP) or wireless access point (WAP). AP sends and receives signals through the wireless network adapters.

However, the way, the signal is sent and received by the wireless network is influenced through the three major factors of a wireless network such as availability, speed, and security.
