Third generation computer
The third generations of computers were introduced in 1964. They used Integrated circuits (ICs). So, the computers of this generation were small in size, low cost, large memory and processing speed is very high.

- Generated very less heat
- Smaller in size comparison to previous generation
- still costly
- More reliable comparison to previous generation
