Thin client is a type of desktop terminal that does not need any hard drive. , and runs the operating system locally. In this type of PC, all data is stored in a central server, and is basically designed to run on a network server.
In this type of client there is no hard drive to store data. All the data, applications and other features are stored on the central server. Thin clients are generally used to get virtual desktop infrastructure. It is generally used for cost effective purpose.
