Sharing Files
A network allows you to share information with other computers. The information to be shared within a network depends on the network setting. A simple way is to send a file containing information from your computer directly to the computer requiring the information. Another way is to send a file to an intermediate device from where the file is sent to the appropriate destination. The third way is to store a file at an intermediate location from where both you and the person in the network requiring the file can retrieve it whenever required. You must note that data travels over a network cable in either ways. Let’s now understand another advantage that is sharing resources.
