Set Top Box

A simple set top box is a rectangular and can be easily placed on the television sets or a piece of furniture as well. The common type of STB which has been in use for quite a long time is the cable convert box; which is now termed as DVR or Digital Video Recorder. STB comes in the category of the in conventional input/output categories which include home theatre PCs burners, optical disc players etc.

Installing a STB differs for every set top box. The option of choosing a specific channel or blocking a verity of channel come at different stage and the configuration setting are as different.
