Session Hijacking

Session Hijacking

Session hijacking, also known as TCP Session Hijacking or Cookie Hijacking, is a form of attack where a session is broken and the HTTP cookies are stolen for unauthorised access to the crucial data of the server. For accessing confidential information, attackers use different techniques such as session sniffing, man-in-the-middle attack and predictable session token to control the sessions.
