Security Policy Vulnerabilities/Weakness

A security policy defines the rules and regulations for providing security to the computer network. Every organisation defines their security policy however if they or their employees do not follow the security policies then their network can face certain security problems. This situation can arise because of the following issues:

No Written Security Policy and Continuity: Sometimes the lack of written security policy within the organisation leads to security issues. Lack of continuity means default passwords and weak password, i.e., the password that can be easily cracked can cause unauthorised access to the computer network.

Lack of Disaster Recovery Plan: Lack of disaster recovery plan and no response team are the major sources of the security threats. Along with that, if the organisation do not have not have a policy on the misuse of official assets that are associated with computer network it can harm the security of the network.
