Secure Shell Better Than Telnet

Telnet is considered an insecure utility because it transmits all data in crystal-clear form including the username and password of the authenticated users. SSH provides various other options, such as remote shell services and command execution„ in addition to all the options of telnet. The most important feature of SSH is that it does not transmit data in crystal-clear form. To secure data transmission, you need to enable SSH in your server, routers, and other networking devices. Since it is not configured by default, you have to configure them on your devices to make the best use of it.
