Repeaters
A repeater is a networking hardware device, which receives, signals from a transmission medium and regenerates those signal so that they can cover longer distances. A signal that carries information can travel a limited distance before its quality weakens. When a repeater receives a weak signal, it regenerates the signal to its original bit pattern.
