OTDR: Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) is an optoelectronic device used to specify an optical fibre. It transmits a series of optical pulses Into the fibre, which result in light being reflected from the same ends of a fibre. This reflected beam of light is used to characterise an optical fibre.
