Network Topology

A network topology defines a way to arrange the network elements such as nodes and cable links in a network. Topology defines how nodes are connected to one another. A node is an active device connected to a network, such as a computer or printer. It can also be equipment, such as hub, switch, or router. The three most often used topology are bus, ring and star. User can use a combination of these topologies according to their requirements.
