Exploring physical connection and its characteristics
Every computer has some connection interface which is used to connect various peripherals and device to the computer. These connection interfaces are known as ports. A ports is a generic terms used for the connector on the computer to which a cable can be plugged. A cable connects the peripheral or the device to the computer. It can be a copper or fiber-optic cable which may be shielded or unshielded. A cable is connected to two ports: one end is connected to the computer and other end to an other devices port.
